The 91 articles summarized in this compendium were identified using the PubMed and Google Scholar databases incorporating the search terms “PanOptix” and “trifocal intraocular lens.” Articles were included when they were published between January 1, 2016 and February 1, 2023 and contained research relevant to the on-label usage of PanOptix^® Trifocal IOL for the visual correction of aphakia in adult patients undergoing cataract surgery. Only manuscripts published in peer-reviewed journals and available in English were included in this compendium. Papers on PanOptix^® Trifocal IOLs with off-label usage or comparing other IOLs that are not US FDA approved to PanOptix^® were not included.
