A conversation of two expert cataract refractive surgeons with an audience of peer surgeons.

At the AAO meeting in Chicago in October 2024, Cathleen McCabe, MD, and Nicole Fram, MD, hosted a dinner discussion on performing cataract surgery at lower IOP settings with the CENTURION® Vision System and the ACTIVE SENTRY® technology (Alcon). This technology has integrated response systems to early detect and compensate for pressure changes with-in the eye, enabling surgeons to operate at a lower intraoperative pressure (IOP). Dr. McCabe and Dr. Fram joined a group of their peers to discuss their surgical experiences with and the latest data on the CENTURION ACTIVE SENTRY with a lower IOP.
